Maker Faire Workshop 2017

All ages welcome. No experience necessary. Camp Couture is incorporating a more ‘green’ learning experience & therefore we have teamed up with Swap-O-Rama- & Maker Faire to showcase a collection of reconstructed clothing on a runway. This next year will be our 10th exhibition.

In class, students will bring in old clothes & recycle them into something modern, chic & completely ‘new’. Students will learn to reconstruct, design, and learn new sewing techniques.

The outfits will be presented on a runway at the Maker Faire Trashion Show. Students are encouraged to make multiple outfits for themselves and their friends. Come be apart of the next fashion show this spring!

Maker Faire Workshop Hours + Dates

Classes are ongoing through the the Spring. Kids can sign up for as many classes as they would like.

Thursdays: 3-6pm*

Fridays: 3-6pm*

Saturdays: 12-3pm*

Sundays: 12-3pm*

*For the month of April & May

Friday May 20th 3:30-5:30pm : Mandatory Practice

Saturday May 21st (Time TBA): Maker Faire

Fee $70 per 3 hour workshop
