SUMMER CAMP
This boutique style camp is an excellent way to empower your child with a useful skills, confidence and self-esteem. Motor skills, attention building and perseverance are also taught.
At The Camp Couture, students learn basic design and sewing skills all the while cool projects and wearable garments. Camp Couture sessions are 1 week in length, however, you may sign up for as many weeks as you want. We accommodate several different age groups and all levels. Campers ages range from 7 years -17 years. For younger campers, we suggest signing up for 2 weeks.
You may attend as many weeks as you want. The curriculum changes weekly to make for a more fun sewing experience. Although we have a curriculum, we urge creative freedom to all students. Being creative is all about freedom.

Complete payment is required upon signing up.
Last minute drop-ins on Monday mornings ‘may’ be accommodated. Please contact us directly via phone @ 650.232.0127 to check availability. You will receive my direct number upon registration Please text on that number or call as it’s the fastest way to reach me.

The camp includes 6 hours per day of sewing instruction. All materials, patterns & machines are provided. We encourage you to bring old clothes for up cycling.
The Studio Hours: *8:15am – 7:00p.m.
Camp Workshop Hours: 9:00 am – 3.00 pm daily
AM Care Hours & Days 8:00am- 9:00 a.m. Monday – Friday and costs $10 per morning or a flat fee $50 for the entire week.
Extended Care Hours 3.00 p.m.- 6 p.m. Monday- Friday and is available for $10 per hour. Children are permitted to sew and use the studio. Payment is tallied up and payment to be made on the last day of camp.
NOTE: AM Care & Extended Care is ONLY provided for the day(s) you will be attending camp Extended care in the afternoon is separate from Camp instruction. Children may sew and create but not required. Please provide your child with books, and snacks for food.
Summer Camp Pricing
Registration Fee $55 ( this is non refundable )
Tuition 1 Week is $975.00.
Payment:
The Balance of $975 (per week) can be paid via Paypal or by check, mailing directions below. The balance is due upon enrollment . A non refundable $55 registration fee is included in the tuition. Should you need to cancel we will refund you less the registration fee
If you need to change the week, we charge $25. Please make sure the week you want to sign up is the one you want. Our system clocks out when the number of seats are full. This fee is to deter last minute changes that leaves some classes too full and others empty.
Once the camp starts and you cancel, we do not refund. You may reschedule for another week. We follow rules like an airline. Once the plane takes off, no refunds. You may opt for another week that best suits your schedule and out availability.

Summer Camp Reminders
- Camp runs Monday through Friday (June, July & August) from 9:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m.
- Lunch and hydration are not provided, please provide your child with a packed lunch, water and snacks. If you want hot lunch, please provide $12.00 CASH per lunch. We order and they deliver to us. We have water at the studio in case they forget their bottles.
- Up-cycling, PLEASE BRING OLD CLOTHES. Please save old jeans, t-shirts, shorts, skirts, dresses and fabric that can be reconstructed. We have lots of things on hand but it’s always good for the kids to epicycle their own garments and get a second life to all the things they live but can no longer use. It’s a great excuse for the family to clean out their closets.
- Friday Photo Shoots are at between 10.30 am – 1p.m. This is a student only activity.
- What’s new??? Fashion Friday we will do a pot luck lunch this year. This is voluntary, but hope everyone will participate as it makes for a more fun and festive day. Our pot lucks (pre covid era) were very popular and have been asked to return. So here it is:) Each student is asked to bring in one thing to contribute to the party. Ideally the food is healthy and not high in sugar. We will talk to the kids and they will choose how they want to contribute. We will be very mindful of food allergies and food restrictions. If there are birthdays during the camp, we celebrate them on that Friday as the kids have all bonded by then and it makes for a more special day.
- What’s new??? Thursday is “FIX IT DAY”. What is this? On Thursdays kids are asked to bring in simple repairs such as shirts that need buttons, mending and repairing holes, hemming etc. Why not let the kids share their new skill with the family?
